I am not sure about everyone else, but I get into moods. I don’t mean just regular moods like cheerful, sad, or silly. Crafting moods is what I am talking about. I go through what some may call phases, but they circulate, so I call them moods. Months can go by where I do nothing but crochet, then not pick up yarn for six months. I do all sorts of crafts though. Last year, I discovered Mandala Yarn by Lion Brand. I LOVE this yarn, but finding good patterns using this yarn was extremely difficult.

I spent days searching high and low for the best pattern and I decided to share my findings here – 13+ Crochet Patterns Using Mandala Yarn. When winter came around this year, I turned back to my Mandala Yarn and had an idea for a hat. It took a while to find one, but I found the Double Bobble Beanie. Find my review here.

After I made the hat, I needed a scarf to match right? Well, I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I decided to make one myself! Introducing my very first original crochet pattern – The Infinity V-Puff Stitch Scarf. This one was made in the color Spirit.

Since my first scarf, my sister fell in love with it. I made one for her for Christmas, but longer and in the color Wood Nymph. I made this one double the length so she can wrap it around her neck. This gift was perfect and I made the hat as well.
