My Favorite Stock Photo Source - The best place to get Stock Photos

Starting a blog and website was a big deal for me, and came with a lot of anxiety and worry about doing it right, and more importantly, legally. I wanted to be respectful of other people’s work and their creative ideas. After doing a lot of research, one of my main concerns was copyright infringement. In particular, I was worried about the use of other people’s photos and the legal aspects of it. It is so easy to just google what you are looking for and just copy-paste. However, that is someone else’s work, even if it is easy to access. And sometimes, I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for or the quality that I needed. But then, I found DepositPhotos.com. It really is the best place to get stock photos.

Even though many people like to take the easy way out, I was determined to do the right thing, and Deposit Photos allowed me to do that. Not to lay it on too thick, but it is a great alternative while being an easy way to access photos and vectors. All of my photos on my website and blog are from Deposit Photos, with the exception of my personal photos, which I am sure you can pick out as they are not the best. This includes all my headers, logos, and promotional material. The only other exception is that I use photos directly from websites, where I directly credit them and need to show a product or source. Every other photo here is from Deposit Photos, including every photo on this post.

My only issue with this service is that sometimes there are too many options and I have a hard time picking my favorite. After using this source for stock photos, I discovered they also have Vectors and high-quality PNG images that I can use for my craft projects. I was able to find icons and logos, along with landscape photos and unique images. It really expanded my access to create and design new crafts and posts and made me realize it is the best place to get stock photos.

After some research, I discovered they have several plans. The plan I use is a monthly flexible plan. The best part of the flex plan is that if you didn’t use any or only some of the photos, they roll over to the next month. There are larger packages available:
